Rodrigo Pedraza graduated in 1988 from the Universidad de La Salle. He spent 13 years in private veterinary practice in Colombia. In addition, Pedraza completed an internship and residency in food animal production management at Virginia Tech University, and worked as a veterinarian and lab manager at Udder Health Systems. He joined Pfizer (now known as Zoetis) in 2005 as a technical services veterinarian.
